As 2019 comes to a close, it’s time to rank my top 10 favorite films of the year. Keep in mind, this is my personal opinion and does not necessarily reflect the grades given to each film. Also, I did not see every single movie released this year. Instead, it’s simply the 10 movies I enjoyed watching the most in 2019.
Despite concern that it would tarnish the already perfect trilogy of films that came before it, Toy Story 4 proves the franchise still had more stories to tell, providing a beautiful and moving epilogue to the franchise.
This year is shaping up to be an incredible one for movies. A lot of conclusions (or alleged conclusions) to huge franchises and series and new sequels and remakes that may spark new life into more dormant ones. Let’s take a look at my top 10 most anticipated films of 2019.
